Ryan Rasmussen

Lead Pastor

Ryan and Michelle married June 16th 2001, and are amazed at how God has blessed them over the years! Ryan earned a Masters of Divinity at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in 2002. Ryan and Michelle were missionaries in Nairobi, Kenya before Ryan was an associate pastor at FPC in Goldsboro. He was a senior pastor in Anderson, IN before helping to plant Cornerstone. Ryan and Michelle have four children: Joe, Lynn, Nathan, and Elissa.

DJ Coles

Youth and Outreach Pastor

DJ graduated from Wayne Community College,
UNC Chapel Hill (BSPH '95). ECU (Latera Entry Teaching Degree '97), and is finishing his Master's at Claremont Lincoln U. (M.P.A. '22). He served as Protestant Youth Pastor and Worship Director at SJAFB for 22 years before coming to Cornerstone. DJ is the Founder & CEO of The 4 Day Movement. He's blessed to be married to his beautiful wife, Ruth, and honored to be the dad to Kaela & Christian.

Isaac Bruton

Worship Leader

Isaac earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Campbell University, a Master's in Music Education, and a Master's in School Administration from ECU. He's led worship for 23 years, and taught chorus for 11 years in middle and high school. Isaac also plays piano for the annual production of Child of the Promise. His desire is to glorify God in worship as hearts are drawn into the presence of the Holy Spirit. Isaac and Anna married on August 5th, 2000, and have three boys: Andrew, Spencer, and Elliot.

Ruth Coles

Social Media Director

Ruth provides Social Media Services for Cornerstone. She earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Visual Communications from Mount Olive College with a minor in Graphic Design in 1998. She has applied her knowledge and God-given skills as she works beside her husband in the PYM° ministry, and in their non-profit, The 4Day Movement. Honoring God with her talent is important to Ruth. She married her soulmate and best friend, Pastor DJ Coles, on July 19, 1997, and enjoys being a mom to Kaela and "Buddy.'
